| repeat prescriptions
A repeat prescription is a prescription that your doctor is happy for you to have without needing to come in to see the doctor.
We do monitor repeat prescriptions closely for safety reasons. We will normally review your treatment periodically, and may ask you to attend surgery to be reviewed.
You may need to have periodic blood tests if you are on certain medicines. This will be discussed by your doctor, and you will normally be advised how often you need to have the test.
When it is time for us to review your treatment a message will be sent, usually on your repeat prescription slip, asking you to attend before your next prescription is due. Please try to come in, it is in your best interest and is good medical practice. how to order repeat prescriptions

We still require your completed repeat prescription slip so please tell your chemist those medicines you require and ask him not to request those you don't.
- by post
Give us a stamped addressed envelope with your completed repeat prescription form and we will post your prescription to you.
