baby clinicOur health visitor, Carla Reed-Shaw (available on: 0161 980 8231) performs most of the routine checks on your baby. Dr. Kelman carries out the 6 week baby check and works closely with Carla. Carla has a clinic on Fridays at 098098-.
She is available for advice on a wide variety of issues concerning babies and children, including feeding issues, monitoring growth etc. Health Visitors are not just there to support your baby but the whole family. Health visitors can:

Support women with post natal depression
- Advise on employment and benefit rights
- Give information on local support networks including ante-natal classes, leisure activities, mother and toddler groups etc.
- Advise on options for child care available locally.
- Provide support for single parents

- Address conflicts within the family, including domestic violence
childhood vaccinationsAll the childhood immunisations are carried out by our practice nurse , Sister Haigh. You will be automatically notifed when your baby's jabs are due. If you require any advice about vaccinations please either speak to Carla, Sister Haigh or your doctor.
