The internet is a vast place and it isn't easy to find reliable medical information. The search button in the title bar above links through to the Patient UK website which is run by our practice computer supplier - EMIS. The information provided is the same as the doctors use at our surgery. The search engine is embedded in the title bar of most of the pages of this website. You can also search the web via google from the box on the right plus search this site as well. I have put together a few links below which I hope you will find useful. Links to useful travel websites are available in our travel section.

The HonCode Scheme
HonCode is short for the "Health On the Net Foundation" code of practice. This is an independent organisation which has voluntary rules or principles which health related websites can sign up to. Our website is registered.
A website must abide by the principles. Being registered is a guide to reliablity but if a site is not registered, it doesn't necessarily mean it is not reliable. A toolbar plug-in is available to make finding registered websites easier. Read more about the HonCode scheme.
