Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we have changed the appointment system.

We now offer significantly enhanced on-line information and consultations using our new Online Consult Service. If you want to ask your GP something, please use this resource which may answer your question. If you still wish to consult your GP fill in the on-line form with your request and we will get back to you, usually the same day.

You can still ring the surgery or use our on-line booking and prescription ordering service. We are currently offering telephone triage appointments wherever possible to reduce the spread of Covid-19.

Appointments can be made by calling 0161 980 3835, or you can book online via Patient Access (temporarily suspended for appointments)

Our phone lines are very busy during peak times and patients are encouraged to access the online services to book/cancel routine GP appointments and request prescriptions.

To register for this service patients will need to bring proof of address and photo ID to the surgery reception and will be given a letter explaining how to access the online services. Please also see the Online Services section of this website.

Routine appointments

Patients will be seen by the next available GP. If you wish to see a specific GP, you may have to arrange an appointment further in advance.

Urgent appointments

Please phone the surgery at 8:30am if you feel you need to see a GP urgently and we will try to offer you a same day appointment. You will be asked to provide brief details of your condition to help us establish the most appropriate appointment for you.

Telephone advice

If you wish to speak to the doctor or nurse on the telephone, please speak to reception. Doctors try to make time after surgery to speak to patients who call, but at busy times it may be difficult to speak to you immediately.

Additional appointments

Evening and weekend appointments are available to Trafford patients to see a GP, Nurse or Phlebotomist between 6.30pm and 8pm Monday to Friday and between 9am and 1pm Saturday and Sunday mornings. Appointments can be booked via reception and are hosted at four ‘hubs’:

Home visits are only available to house bound patients who are unable to be brought to the practice.

Appointment reminders

We have an SMS text appointment reminder service to help you remember appointment details.

To cancel appointments please either respond to your text message appointment reminder, cancel online or ring the surgery so another patient can benefit from the appointment.
